Young Sire Proving Program

The Semex Alliance, which samples 450 bulls annually in three countries, is pleased to present its group of Holstein and Protein young sires who will receive a proof in the next three and a half years. This highly selected group of almost 1500 sires represents a good variation of pedigrees selected from the best genetics available. All young sires are tested through a well-structured young sire proving program to allow the most reliable information.

Producers are encouraged to participate in the program. Not only do they benefit from the newest genetics but they also receive significant incentives:

• As a qualifying herd, every time you classify a qualifying Young Sire daughter you will qualify for Gencor's new Young Sire incentive package.
   
• If you utilize Young Sires on 1-29% of your breedings, Gencor will credit your account with $85.00 for each daughter classified.
   
• If you use Young Sires on 30% or more of your herd, your Gencor account will be credited with $100.00 per daughter classified.

At any Young Sire usage level you will receive two semen certificates that will allow you to use any proven sire at 50% off the retail price. The certificates have a maximum value of $25.00 each for Holsteins and $10.00 for all other dairy breeds.

In total for each qualifying Young Sire daughter classified, Gencor will contribute $135.00 - $150.00 towards your breeding costs and breed improvement program expenses.
