Four-Day A.I. Training Course

Designed for farmers and herds people who want to learn how to do their own A.I. An intensive 4-day program which includes 2 days in a classroom setting at Gencor and 2 days insemination practice.

Some of the topics included are Anatomy & Physiology of the cow, Semen handling and thawing procedures, A.I. equipment and its use, Nitrogen safety, heat detection and the estrus cycle. A Gencor staff Veterinarian will provide an informative session on reproductive management. Two days of insemination practice with experienced instructors. All training material, a comprehensive manual and meals are included.

On Farm A.I. Training

Learn to do A.I. with instruction and practice provided on your farm. Two sessions of training with up to 10 hours of instruction are included. You supply the cows for training, with a minimum of 3 animals per person. Gencor allows a maximum of 5 people per on-farm training course.
